Have You Seen A Soul Project

As primarily an animal photographer, I found that I was becoming withdrawn from people. To challenge myself, I created the “Have You Seen A Soul” project to rediscover the nuances and beauty found in people. My mission is to create connections with my subjects that reflect an authenticity of who they are beyond fake smiles and societal expectations.

Common Questions:

  1. Can I book you for a people session? YES!

  2. Why Black & White? By removing colour, the viewer is forced to look at the subject and not able to judge an image based on if they like the colours, the sweater they are wearing or many other variables.

  3. Would you be able to smooth out my wrinkles? NO. Sorry, you are who you are and that is beautiful. You earned every f*n one of those wrinkles. Be proud. I will also not alter any other part of you (with the exception of that annoying stress zit that shows up the day before). Keeping things authentic is what this is all about.

  4. How long is a session? They are not timed but generally run 30 minutes to a couple hours depending on the session. This isn’t about forced posing this is about natural response and that is purely up to how fast you get comfortable having me around.
